REALLY GOOD! I wanted to devour it and read it slow to savour it at the same time. I am a child of the Vietnam war era and talking about the war was always taboo as to not stir up bad memories of people who had been there. I love reading different perspectives of the war to piece together childhood memories and news stories. Kristen Hannah did an excellent job.
Sounds really good! That's so interesting that you didn't talk about the Vietnam era. We didn't talk about it much here in Canada either, but I think it was more from the point of view that it was a war that shouldn't have happened (and since Canada wasn't involved we didn't really have any vets to potentially re-traumatize).

Yeah it's not really a war I would think a lot of countries talk about since it wasn't a world war.
